Biography:

Rey, as seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Episode 9), is a pivotal character in the sequel trilogy of the Star Wars saga. Her first appearance was in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

Initially a scavenger on the desert planet Jakku, Rey discovers her latent Force abilities and becomes instrumental in the Resistance's fight against the First Order. She seeks out Luke Skywalker to become a Jedi.

In The Rise of Skywalker, Rey confronts her heritage, learning she is the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine. She ultimately chooses to reject her lineage, embracing the Skywalker legacy and defeating Palpatine to restore balance to the Force.
